Interactive care proceedings training launched

Cafcass and Kent University have launched interactive training aimed at demystifying care proceedings for social workers and service users. myCourtroom is a training simulation based on realistic scenarios designed to trigger discussions and decisions around safe practice and positive outcomes for children. It has been produced to help social workers, family court advisers and child protection professionals, in particular those new to the court setting and local authority workers looking for a clearer understanding of private law proceedings. A version of myCourtroom for service users will be launched later this year, including a version for direct work with children and young people.
