Cricket Board sends safeguarding procedures reminders

The England and Wales Cricket Board has written to all counties to remind them of safeguarding procedures and responsibilities, in the wake of the child sexual abuse scandal that has hit football. Members of the Board have been asked to review the Board’s safeguarding policies. No new allegations have been made. Similarly, the Rugby Football Union has also said they haven’t been notified of any new child abuse allegations, but they are being vigilant.
