Centre of Expertise to tackle child abuse to be created

The government has committed £8 million to create a national Centre of Expertise in tackling child abuse – and work will get underway in August. The centre will work to identify and share evidence on what works to prevent and tackle child sexual abuse and exploitation, and create a shared understanding.
