Sexually exploited boys ‘hidden’ from services

Results from a study by The Children’s Society, Boys Don’t Cry, has highlighted the increasing numbers of boys who are being trafficked and sexually exploited in the UK, and found that many are “hidden” to those services designed to help them. The research found that 671 under-18s were trafficked in 2014 – more than double the number recorded in 2012, although the true figures are believed to be far higher.
